Program outline
This program provides training in all aspects of construction management and aims to produce graduates capable of managing and controlling complex construction projects. Students should actively seek employment in the building industry.
Prospective students are encouraged to talk to the Program Coordinator about exemptions from the program based on previous study or professional experience. The Faculty has established sets of exemptions for holders of selected TAFE qualifications.
While a normal part-time load is 12 units of credit for terms 2 and 3, and 6 units of credit in term 5, the loading may be varied to balance work and family commitments. Students should note prerequisite requirements and course availability (in this Handbook) when constructing their program in liaison with the Program Coordinator. It is suggested that you study courses in order of level, as shown in the Recommended Study Schedule.
