Program outline

This new program is a 'nested' award which has been developed by and will be delivered through cross-sectoral partnerships with providers in both the schools and the vocational education and training sectors. These partnerships are based upon mutually negotiated outcomes for our students. Partnerships are continuing to evolve in response to a growing demand for VET teachers who are qualified to teach in both schools and industry training providers.

Networks operate through, in the first instance, a vocational education and training reference group that is representative of key stakeholders from regional centre throughout Queensland. On-site teaching and training is facilitated by supervising mentors in high schools and TAFE colleges, as well as in industry and enterprise specific private training providers. Inter-faculty networks are also established in the delivery of expanded discipline studies course offerings.
