Program outline

This program has been established to produce a graduate capable of designing and drafting residential buildings and commercial buildings up to three storeys high. Prospective students are encouraged to talk to the Program Coordinator about exemptions from the program based on previous study or professional experience. The Faculty has established sets of exemptions for holders of selected TAFE qualifications.

While a normal part-time load is 12 units of credit for terms 2 and 3, and 6 units of credit in term 5, the loading may be varied to balance work and family commitments. Students should note prerequisite requirements and term availability (in this Handbook) when constructing your program in liaison with the Program Coordinator. It is suggested that you study the courses in order of level, as shown in the Recommended Study Schedule.
