Handbook Terminology:

Academically at risk

A student is at risk of making unsatisfactory academic progress if the student's circumstances match any of the following criteria:

If the student:

  • in a term of enrolment does not achieve a passing grade in at least 50% of the courses in which the student has been enrolled, or
  • fails the same course twice, or 
  • fails to successfully complete required components as designated by the Faculty, or
  • fails to complete mandatory directions as specified in the signed contract.
