Handbook Terminology:

Cross-institution program

A program of studies comprising a course or set of courses which meet all these criteria: it is being undertaken at one institution (the "host" institution) as part of an award program or an enabling program for which they are enrolled at another institution (the "home" institution); there is an arrangement for recognition between the institutions; both institutions are listed in the s4 of the Higher Education Funding Act 1988; the cost of providing the program of study is met by the host institution; and funding for the load being reported for the course has NOT been provided to the home institution by the student, an employer, a Commonwealth or State department or agency, the Australian Research Council (ARC), or any other individual or body.
