Handbook Terminology:

Course profile

A document prepared by the course coordinator, in consultation with the Head of School, that provides details of the course in accordance with the University template and includes:

  • a study schedule showing the topics to be covered;
  • the learning outcomes;
  • required textbooks and any suggested reference materials;
  • details of the mode of delivery and any student resources;
  • the structure of assessment, details of the assessment items and due dates for submission; and
  • the assessment criteria.
The course profile is available to each student enrolled in the course no later than the first week of the term.
