- Acting and Dance for Music Theatre
Career options
The Bachelor of Music Theatre is a program designed to give degree qualifications to students who wish to become performing artists, directors, choreographers, designers, technicians and managers in the field of music theatre.
Program structure
To satisfy the requirements of the award, students must complete 144 units of credit as outlined below.
Year 1 is a prescribed foundation year where students study all of the above Music Theatre disciplines. Students will not need to select their final study program until after the completion of Year 1. By this time, they will have gained an insight into each of the specialist program areas.

- Students must complete either Vocal Studies and/or Acting and Dance for Music Theatre to level 6 to be eligible to graduate with the Bachelor of Music Theatre
