Bachelor of Vocational Education & Training (VET) CU31

Duration: Undergraduate entry - 3 years full-time, 6 years part-time. Students are able to complete the degree in two years full-time by undertaking an accelerated program utilizing a third Spring/Summer Term.
Mode and Location: External.
Courses/Units of Credit: 24 courses/144 units of credit.
Faculty: Education & Creative Arts.
Entry: No new enrolments are being accepting into this program.
Practicum/Work Placement: 250 hours of supervised training practice.
Residential School: Summer Residential Workshops (dates to be advised).
Exit Awards: Advanced Diploma of VET; (equivalent of 16 courses).

Program Overview

This program is currently under review by the faculty's VET Reference Group with the intention of articulation with the Bachelor of Learning Management (Secondary Vocational Education & Training)

This program is designed for people who wish to work as: (1) teacher or tutor in TAFE colleges; (2) industry trainer; (3) training & development consultant or facilitator.

^ Successful completion of these courses enable students to be eligible for Reciprocal Cross Credit for Adult Literacy Teaching in the VET Sector (N.B. this is NOT a university award)
