Handbook Terminology:

Bachelor's Degree

The Bachelor's degree is an undergraduate award requiring successful completion of either 144 or 192 units of credit (depending upon the award requirements).

A Bachelor's degree gives graduates broadly applicable generic skills or specialist professional knowledge which provides initial preparation for careers or postgraduate study.

The University confers on graduates the generic degree of Bachelor of (for example, Arts, or Engineering) or the specialist degree of Bachelor of (for example, Communication & Information Technology).
