Equivalent Full-time Student Load (EFTSL)
Equivalent Full-time Student Load. An EFTSL is the new unit of measure used in the Higher Education Support Act 2003 (HESA), replacing the old unit of measure, EFTSU. It is a measure of the study load of a student undertaking a course of study on a full-time basis.
