Program outline
The Honours year program involves a research project and associated report, together with seminars and reading list examinations in selected topics and in the specialised field of the project.
Bachelor of Biomedical Science graduates who have demonstrated outstanding performance (GPA minimum 5.0) in their second and third level courses may apply for entry into the honours degree program. Final acceptance is dependent upon finding a supervisor and a suitable topic.
Graduates from other institutions who meet the entry requirements are welcome to apply for admission to the course.
Program structure
To satisfy the requirements of the award, students must complete two research courses or 48 units of credit. Recommended study schedules for this program can be obtained from your program administrator.
Applicants should contact the Head, Chemical & Biomedical Sciences before making their application. The Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Honours) program is also available for mid-year entry. Students complete BMED19008 Biomedical Science (Honours) A and BMED19009 Biomedical Science (Honours) B.
