THTR11065 Staging Performance
Course Description
This course enable students to acquire knowledge about elements of composition and the use of form in space. Students will be encouraged to develop an understanding of the frames that govern and constrain the design of contemporary creative practices. The concept of space and the utilisation of both open area and ?restricted? areas are discussed. Students will also be exposed to performances and the appraisal of space used in these and some movement and choreographic skills. The course allows students to evaluate and assess various kinds of performances, dance, drama, musical, creative etc. and evaluate and assess these in terms of staging and performance.
