SOWK12007 Research Methods in Social Work
Course Description
This course builds on, and further develops skills begun earlier in the course. Research strategies, the interpretation of research findings, various methods of qualitative and quantitative research comprise the framework for this course which also aims to allow students the opportunity to develop a detailed research study in an area of interest to themselves which where possible is consistent with the research activities of staff in the discipline. Students aiming for the award of a Bachelor of Social Work with Honours must achieve a grade of Credit or higher in this course.
