An introduction to the materials of the earth's crust and the processes by which they are formed, altered and transported. Rocks and minerals, mineralogy, crystallography, petrology, weathering and erosion, sedimentation and diagenesis, igneous processes, metamorphism, Geological mapping, two excursions.
