OCHS20022 Issues in Workplace Health and Safety
Course Description
This course integrates topical workplace health and safety issues into the context of previous studies to provide students with skills to analyse, critique and report on current trends in OH&S. Topics covered include development of a system for auditing a variety of occupational settings, accident investigation and analysis using structured techniques such as Fault Tree Analysis and MORT, total quality management, critique of technical papers and environmental issues. Compulsory residential school for distance education students. It is a requirement of this course to have access to the CQU website and internet.
