OCHS13011 Occupational Rehabilitation and Compensation
Course Description
Sustainable financial risk management is dependent on effective rehabilitation programs, financially supported by compensation payments. The legislative requirements of the Workcover Act and the Workcover Regulations provide the framework adopted in this course, for the provision of compensation and rehabilitation from work-related injury or illness. Factors involved in planning, implementing and evaluating a rehabilitation plan are examined and applied. Successful completion of the course attracts Workcover Rehabilitation coordinator accreditation. All students are required to attend a three-day residential school or equivalent.
