Course Description

Risk management provides a mechanism for the provision and promotion of occupational health and safety through identification, assessment, control and evaluation of risk. Various factors in a workplace contribute to risks such as hazardous, confined spaces, fire, radiation and noise. A working knowledge of these and other hazards (discussed in this course), is required before risk can be properly managed. Learners will apply process safety and accident analysis models such as MORT, TOR and Fault Tree Analysis. Successful completion of the course may attract WHSO accreditation.
