OCHS12001 Introductory Occupational Health and Safety
Course Description
This course provides the foundation for the concepts and principles and philosophy of the discipline OH&S. The history and legislative requirements form a framework for discussion of the key discipline areas. The concepts of worker characteristics, hazard, risk, workplace assessment, accident investigation, and OH&S management are introduced to the learner. Successful completion of the course includes WHSO core module completion.
