Course Description

The student will explore the action, use and responses of individuals to drugs and medications. The physiology and biochemistry of drug metabolism in the body, and the individual's reaction to drugs, may be an important part of the health care provider's role. An understanding of drugs and medications is integral to the care given to clients in the health care environment.
