Course Description
This course will look critically at the role of individuals, groups and managers in the performance outcomes of organisations in a dynamic environment. The role of individual and group behaviour on performance will be examined. Theoretical underpinnings of management and organisational theory will also be addressed. Topics will include emotions, values, attitudes, motivation, leadership, communication, group dynamics, management roles, strategic decision-making and structure.
