MBIO19004 Humans, Microbes and Disease
Course Description
This course will consider both the normal human microbiota and those which cause disease. The course will consider both virulence mechanisms exhibited by the pathogens and defence mechanisms of the host, especially the immune system. Microbial genetics will be discussed and integrated with the rest of this course.
