Course Description

Acquatic plants and animals of coastal zones are exposed to relatively high environmental fluctutations; their adaptation depends on the interaction of all neighbouring organisms, the community. Human activities add a level of complexity to the dynamic structure of these communities. These facts and concepts are reviewed in this course under three sections - inshore coral reefs, estuaries and fisheries
