Course Description

This course develops the content of Negotiating Meaning in a LOTE to a greater depth in preparation for the up and coming fieldwork component in the target country. All areas in Negotiating Meaning in a LOTE are readdressed with more depth and the addition of new areas. Students are exposed to a large amount of regalia and encouraged to participate in activities that will enable their stay in the target country to be of maximum benefit. Again only the target language is used throughout this course enabling opportunity for improvement in all four skill areas with special emphasis on sociocultural aspects.
