LOTE11008 Second Language Communication and Cultural Diversity

This course is a follow on from Raising Communicative Competence in the LOTE and builds upon all previous knowledge and skills acquired in the LOTE series of courses. This course concentrates on advanced aspects of the target language and hones students' skills in four areas. A variety of topics are studied with 100 per cent of the Language Other Than English being used. Immersion techniques are again utilised and students are expected to be independent learners whilst benefiting from as much guidance as possible.
