LOTE11004 Second Language Communication in Global Environment

This course is a continuation of Effective Communication in a LOTE and builds upon areas and skills covered in that course. The course is taught through specialised immersion techniques and incorporates the four skill areas of writing, reading, listening and speaking. There is a continuation of self- directed, active learning as well as targeting of individual needs and deficiencies with the aim of providing more independent learning in future LOTE series of courses. Both Effective Communication in a LOTE and Teaching Through a LOTE are courses which build upon students' knowledge of the target language with the aim of providing skills to enhance learning and development throughout the program.
