HLTH20028 Philosophy and Bioethics
Course Description
This course will allow the student to investigate and discuss the philosophical tenets and values that underpin the sanctity of being and the basis of health care practice. Ethics will be discussed with the view to examining the historical development of ethics to exploring the principles of bioethics as it affects health care and the provision of services. An ethical framework will be used to analyse and problem solve contemporary and current health issues.
