ENTE13009 Power Electronics

Course Description

This course introduces students to the basic static power conversion principles. Part One examines fundamental converter types such as single and polyphase rectifiers, inverters, frequency changes and their principles of operation. Part 2 makes a more detailed examination of specific power electronic devices including switch mode power supply and industrial drives.
