ENTC12003 Hydraulics

Course Description

This course provides students on BET level with comprehensive coverage of civil engineering hydraulics and include: properties of fluid, hydrostatics, behaviour of real fluids, flow in pipes and flow in open channels, hydraulic machinery, dimensional analyses, principles of hydraulic modelling. The focus of this course is on the type of problems commonly encountered by civil engineers in the field of hydraulic engineering rather than on theoretical analyses.
