Course Description
The purpose of this course is to provide students who are in the final year of their program with an opportunity to carry out an authentic work assignment type project which closely approximates technologist's activities, in industry. The project is intended to integrate many of the practical skills as well as the technical components of the degree program and requires students to carry out problem definition, literature survey, and investigative background research. It is expected that while carrying out the project, students will develop their expertise as well as practise skills in the project's discipline area, substantially by self-directed learning.
