ENEM12003 Thermodynamics
Course Description
To extend the knowledge gained in "Heat" of the first year Physics program to engineering applications of thermodynamics. The topics considered include: The fundamentals of thermodynamics, the use of tables of properties for fluids, flow and non-flow process, the first law of themodynamics and other energy equations, the limitations of the second law of thermodynamics, entropy in engineering processes, "heat engine" cycle analysis.
