Course Description

The purpose of this course is to prepare students for a design and/or research-based project. The project should integrate many of the technical components of the degree program, and also requires them to plan, execute and report on a project in a professionally competent manner, while developing their expertise in the project's discipline area. Students are expected to: Have formed a suitable problem definition for their project. Have extraced relevant information from all available sources (including all forms of information technology, client and colleague expertise, and trade literature). Have planned and scheduled their project as a major engineering project. The major project will be undertaken in the final term, ENEA 14007 - Co-op Dissertation.
