Course Description

This course studies the physical level of computer systems. It examines the physical process of storage, retrieval and transmission of information. Tools associated with hardware fault diagnostics are examined. Instruction is given in the physical inter-relation of component parts of a typical personal computer (PC) and system operation procedure.
