Course Description
The impact of computer technology upon the educational process is considered in this course which consists of a core module, introducing the philosophy behind computer education. The module provides hands-on experience with the tools used in computer education. This module is followed by studies in either primary or secondary computer education. The primary strand addresses curriculum issues faced by primary educators, integration across the curriculum. The secondary strand emphasises current developments in computer curricula within the secondary school. Assessment of the course consists of a series of worksheets relating to the core subject and a project in the elective area.
