ECON20038 Economics and E-Commerce

Course Description

This course is designed to explain how standard economic principles can be applied to improve the understanding and analysis of electronic commerce opportunities. The course covers the identification and measurement of the costs and benefits of electronic commerce, the organisational and management changes that electronic commerce can stimulate within businesses, and the wider flow-on effects that electronic commerce may have in economic, regional development, environmental and social impacts.
