COIS20008 Information Systems Project Planning and Mgment
Course Description
In this course students learn the procedures, forms and techniques for estimating, planning, scheduling and controlling each stage in the development of an information systems development project. The teaching method, material and assessment uses real- life examples wherever possible. Students in this course must ensure that they have access to a project management software package, such as MS Project 2002. Note: A 120-day trial version of MS Project 2002 is packaged with the prescribed textbook. Access to the Internet is desirable but not mandatory.
