BUSN20013 Quantitative Methods for Business Research: An Advanced Course
Course Description
This course provides students wishing to undertake applied quantitative business research and decision-making with the design and analytical skills they require. The primary aim of the course is to enable students to achieve an in-depth understanding of quantitative research methods, research design and the use of a variety of univariate and multivariate analytical techniques. A consistent theme throughout the course is the concept of model building. The techniques developed in this course are widely applicable in a number of areas of management, marketing, finance, economics, tourism and organizational behaviour. The course provides for both theoretical input and a heavy component of computer hands-on experiential exercises.
