BLSV13022 Building Services Auditing (NC)

Course Description

This course introduces the student to the philosophies behind and processes associated with auditing building services for compliance with the Building Code of Australia and relevant codes for automated systems, fire services and for best-practice building performance (including energy auditing). This course will take students back to first principals so compliance can be determined both "in the spirit" of the legislation as well as "by the rule book". The student will be involved in case studies to ensure that the practical appreciation/application of knowledge gained in this course. Students should have completed introductory studies in building services to ensure an adequate level of entry knowledge.
