Course Description
Acts, regulations and by-laws relating to temporary works; objectives in the building of formwork and falsework - quality, safety, control; formwork planning - re-use, materials and hardware, erecting, stripping, scheduling; scaffolding; cofferdams; introduction to ground water lowering techniques; basic underpinning and shoring; ground support - trenching, bracing, etc.
