BLAR11003 Construction II

Course Description

Following on from Construction I, this course extends that material to include Class 2, 3 and 10 buildings under the Building Code of Australia. This includes multiple course buildings, residential parts of hotels and motels and domestic outbuildings such as garages and swimming pools but concentrates on low-rise construction. The course also addresses fire safety, substructures and superstructures for these buildings, the legal background to the standards required for problems and an introduction to three-story residential buildings.
