ACCT19063 Contemporary Issues in Accounting
Course Description
This course is designed as a "capstone" to the accounting program. It draws on the financial and managerial accounting knowledge of all three years, relating these topics to governmental organisations. It also introduces emerging and controversial topics in either managerial or financial accounting. Case studies are used extensively in placing techniques in the business context and presentations and reports are expected to be of a good professional standard.
