This program is suitable for those who already, or wish to, work in the building industry as building surveyors. The qualification entitles holders to register as a building surveyor.
Substantial exemptions from courses resulting in a reduced program duration, will be available to those who are holders of the Advanced Diploma of Building Inspection. Prospective students are encouraged to talk to the Program Coordinator about exemptions from the program based on previous study or professional experience. The Faculty has established sets of exemptions for holders of TAFE qualifications.
A normal part-time load is 12 units of credit for terms 2 and 3, and 6 units of credit for term 5. Students should note prerequisite requirements and course availability (in this Handbook) when constructing their program in liaison with the Program Coordinator. It is suggested that you study courses in order of level.
