Diploma of Hospitality Management/Bachelor of Tourism

Program Overview

This combined qualification is a pilot program that leads to the awards of Diploma of Hospitality (Management) from the Central Queensland Institute of TAFE and the Bachelor of Tourism from Central Queensland University.

Students with a completed Diploma of Hospitality Management from TAFE Qld are eligible for exemption from a total of eight courses (48 units of credit).

Program Structure

Students must complete a program of 16 courses (96 units of credit) at Central Queensland University which comply with the requirements detailed below.

4 electives which students consider relevant to a tourism-related career.

A recommended study schedule for this program can be obtained from your program administrator. Students may determine their own schedule based upon credit transfers and personnel study requirements. It is important to note that full-time students usually enrol in four courses per term and part-time students usually enrol in two courses per term per term.
