HRMT11010 Organisational Behaviour
The student will gain an understanding of human
behaviour in organisations, particularly organisations containing
a work environment. The concepts of group dynamics, leadership,
motivation, power, decision-making, communication, employee attitudes
and individual behaviour are studied, as well as aspects of the
organisational systems such as organisational structure, functions
of management, the management of human resources and organisational change.
International dimensions of organisational behaviour will be stressed
in this course. Tutorial activities provide experiential opportunities
and increased awareness of organisational behaviour concepts.
