Compared with the four year Bachelor of Engineering program the program is six months longer, but students graduate with a full year of industrial experience. The first two years of the program are identical to the four year Bachelor of Engineering program (CA87). A Cooperative Education student must pass all of the first and second year program courses before being eligible to undertake the first industry experience placement.
