Advanced Diploma of Building Inspection CA34

Duration: 4 years part-time.
Mode: External only.
Location(On-Campus): Not offered internally.

Accreditation: Graduates qualify for membership of the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors and registration as an Assistant Building Surveyor.

Program Overview

This program is designed for those planning to work for local authorities or who are already employed in the building industry.

Prospective students are encouraged to talk to the Program Coordinator about exemptions from the program based on previous study or professional experience. The Faculty has established sets of exemptions for holders of TAFE qualifications.

A normal part-time load is 12 units of credit per term. Students should note prerequisite requirements and course availability (in this Handbook) when constructing your program in liaison with program advisors. It is suggested that you study courses in order of level. However, you may choose to bring courses forward provided you have studied the necessary prerequisites and the courses are available.
