Master of Teaching (Secondary) CF19

Duration: 18 months intensive full-time, 4 years part-time.

This program has been established for those students wishing to enter the profession of secondary school teaching and it focuses on skills and understandings appropriate to teachers at the beginning of their careers. This program also provides the opportunity for students from overseas, including Canada and the United States, to complete all or part of their degree in Australia.

Program Structure

Students are required to complete four curriculum and pedagogy courses, which focus on their area of professional interest, in addition to the 19 Education studies and Fieldwork courses listed below. With approval from the course coordinator, students may elect to complete other courses offered by the Faculty of Education & Creative Arts which may better suit their career interests.
