Program Structure
This program is no longer available. Students who wish to pursue a LOTE (Japanese) teaching pathway should now enrol in the Bachelor of Learning Management (Secondary and Vocational Education and Training) from Term 1, 2011, and choose LOTE (Japanese) as their first discipline area.
Students who wish to study Japanese language and culture without pursuing the teaching degree can also enroll in eligible courses. Such students should seek appropriate advice from the relevant program advisor for their elective course options.

Students must complete 3 of the following education elective courses in Term 3 as indicated above. Availability of electives may vary between campuses and are offered in alternate years.

Primary - 3 year option (fast track)
This option is only available to students who have demonstrated, and continue to demonstrate high achievement in their studies. Students are required to consult with their Program Advisor prior to commencing the 'fast-track' option. Decisions regarding this option can only be made at the end of Term 1 Year 1. After this time, the fast track option is not available.
