This degree aims to produce high quality graduates possessing knowledge and skills to enable entry into selected areas of biochemical, biological, veterinary, Para-medical and related sciences.

To be eligible for this award, students must complete a total of 24 courses/144 units of credit, comprised of:

• 8 compulsory foundation courses;
• 12 compulsory advanced courses; and
• 4 elective courses.

Recommended study schedule
The following schedule is designed for full-time students who usually enrol in 4 courses (24 units of credit) per term. The normal schedule for part-time students is 2 courses (12 units of credit) per term. External (part-time) students note that Advanced Level courses are only offered in alternate years.
