About ELICOS

To be eligible for admission to CQUniversity's university degree programs, in addition to academic prerequisites, international applicants for all programs are required to have an acceptable level of competence in writing, reading, speaking and understanding English. If you are unable to meet these requirements, CQUniversity can provide access to English language preparation prior to commencing formal degree studies at many of its campuses.

CQUniversity boasts two language centres in Rockhampton and at the Gold Coast campus.

All English programs provide excellent language tuition in an environment conducive to learning. The well-equipped language centres cater specifically for those students who require additional language experience in order to prepare them for undertaking university studies at CQUniversity by providing them with pathway options into undergraduate programs.

The CQUniversity Language Centre, on the Rockhampton campus, offers year-round intensive English language programs in two areas of language study: general English and academic preparation.
