Course details

Exploring the concepts, techniques and materials involved in production elements of theatre design, students should acquire skills in understanding the basic working practices of a theatre scene shop. This introductory course will focus primarily on how safely to use basic carpentry and power tools. Each course in this series requires students to demonstrate a greater degree of creativity and professional skills, therefore, entry into each successive course assumes an achievement of a passing grade or higher in the previous course.
